Cassettefacewatch

Think back to the days before mp3s, downloading and ipods. If you're thinking "yeah, CDs - man, they're retro" then you need to go a little further back into your consciousness. Yes, we're talking cassettes. Whilst we're all for the digitalisation of the music industry, we sometimes feel a pang of nostalgia for the humble cassette, which played (pardon the pun) such a massive part of our youth. The hours spent on a Sunday night recording the latest hits from the Top 40 countdown on the radio, fingers poised over the stop key, ready to snap it off just before the DJ started yapping (a challenge we invariably failed); the utter frustration felt as the tape player chewed up your new cassette, leaving you with masses of tape to spool up. Annoying, yes; time-consuming, absolutely; but actually kinda fun.

And those of you that echo our sentiment can pay tribute to this retro relic with this cool cassette face watch. Whilst it may look old skool, there's a nifty bit of design going on here, with the hour hand cunningly tucked into the left-hand spool and the minute hand in the one on the right, along with a stainless steel strap and built-in water resistance. Very cool.
